MONDAY..Fall time Baby!

The first two pictures are for Erika because the burning bushes in the front of our house are BEAUTIFUL! I love the fall time and I know Erika would appriciate these!
Last night for FHE we carved/painted pumkins...Courty and I made some lovely pumkins that are absolutly hilarious :) There names are Marlin and Lola.
It was also Tato's Birthday so we went to her little party! Happy Birthday Tate!

ALLIE's getting hitched so we had a little party at the pizza factory for her! It was good to have all of us girls together finallY!Can't wait for the wedding als!

Ky Ky's WEDDING

My Best Friend from College got married on October 17Th!!! I am so happy for her. It was a beautiful day and she looked so gorgeous all in white :) Everything went perfect and it was fun for Sam and I to be there for everything.

I spent the night at Kati Jo's and it was so fun to spend another weekend with her! She's the best and so kind to let me stay. She even re taught me to drive a stick...lets just say that there was a lot of laughing. I also got to hang out one of my closest guy friends from Senior Year, Sam. We always are laughing and have always are so funny since we've been friends for so long. Sorry for so many pictures!!! It was a long fun day :)

ROCK BAND LIVE

Ash and I had a great time at ROCK BAND LIVE! I was so ready for this day to be here. If you know me well, you know Dashboard is my favorite band. I could have listened to them all night long(Although the other bands were really good as well) I didn't want them to stop playing. Rock Band Live's tour included THE CAB, Plain White T's, Dashboard Confessional, and Panic at the Disco! Ash is now in love with The Cab! They are so great!Between bands they had groups of people up on stage who had entered in a contest to play ROCK BAND against each other. It was hilarious.Chris is my favorite entertainer...he even sang SO WHAT by Pink. It was really funny. Ash and I even got matching Dashboard Shirts :)oh and not to mention, we were REALLY CLOSE, gotta love GA. Next concert....Metro station! woot woot!

On my bosses birthday during lunch at work we went to chilis! It was so fuN! I love the girls I work with! Happy B-day Amb!

guess you had to be there...

After work one day last week Katie Jaye and I were walking out of the building and it was super WINDY!!! As we were standing in the crazy wind Katie lost pretty much everything she was holding...so we were chasing it for like ten minutes and laughing our heads off...we couldn't stop laughing and it prevented us from chasing the paper and Tupperware and so they kept blowing away...it was the funniest thing ever. Guess you had to be there...it was ONE WINDY Bonanza!

My weekend.

This weekend was good I just hung out with the girlie's Friday night...then Saturday slept in and it felt so great! Courty and I headed to Snow's game. It was trying to snow on the way down, but then cleared up!...then during the game IT was FREEZING and snowed lots. I can't believe how cold it has gotten so fast! They won of course and it was fun to see my friends.



Saturday night I went to dinner with Tracie! We went to the cutest little soup and sandwich place(I cant remember the name)I had a chicken salad sandwich that was so nummy! Then we went back to her place and made sugar cookies!Needless to say orange is a hard color to get out of food coloring. It was great to spend time with her and catch up! I love sugar cookies...we ate one too many. Thanks for a fun night trace.I can't belive how fast the weekends go by..its going to be Thanksgiving before we know it!

A Time For Us FOREVER...

It all started with a knock on the door...(Dad and his buddy pretending to be Mom and her roommates "home teachers")...the rest is history.

38 years
7 kids
13 3/4 grand kids

Happy 38Th Anniversary Mom and Dad!!! That is so wonderful. I am truly blessed to have such great parents! I love the both of them more than words can express. They are always willing to do anything for me and have sacrificed so much. They both are so strong in the church and have always been my biggest examples and influences in my life. Dad is so hardworking and caring. Mom has become one of my best friends over the years. She is so talented in all she does.(not to mention the best cook!) I think they are the cutest parents ever! Thanks for all you do for all of us. I love you Mom and Dad.


Here are some fun facts about their special day:
They were married on October 9Th, 1970 at 9:00 AM in the Salt Lake Temple.
It rained.
The reception was held at Grandma & Grandpa Johnson's house in Provo.
Mom's wedding colors were baby blue and pale yellow.
Mom had her favorite flower, Lily of the Valley on the fabric of her wedding gown (which she made!).
Dad wore the traditional tux.
Dad was 23.
Mom was 19.
Their 3 tiered wedding cake was from the Provo Bakery. It was white with baby blue and yellow decorations.
They honeymooned in Salt Lake, Yellowstone,Jackson Hole, Las Vegas, and San Diego!
And they also had an open house in San Diego at Grandpa & Grandma Shippen's house.
Their first apartment was in San Diego.
