One of my favorite traditions my family has is our annual Shippen Halloween party! Everyone always has great costumes! We have our usual corn bread and chili, homemade root beer, doughnut eating contest, & pinata. It's always a wonderful time with my family and lots of laughs. This year I went as my Grandma Lola. I had a photo session right before our party so I had to rush home and I hadn't figured out what I was going to be yet (so much for planning!) so when I dug through my mom's costume box I saw one of my old grandmas wigs so i thought i could be a housewife or something and once I put it on I looked pretty similar to my Grandma! I grabbed a cane, some pearls, a broach & I was set!
