fall.

fall in utah is breathtaking.
i love this time of year,
when all the leaves are changing,
and the air starts to be crisp.
the bffe & i love our drives up the canyon.
we heart sundance.
this time we ventured on to heber city.
for din din and shakes.
winter & snow, please don't even think about
coming anytime soon. let me enjoy fall.

busy night.

my busy friday night.

went like this

1.reception

Katie, my co-worker

got hitched to the love of her life.

she is now MRS. GREENWOOD!!!

she looked beautiful.

2. visited miles.

my friend miles just got home from serving a mission in Hawaii.

after almost four years of all of us being apart

{due to missions}

the gang was all back together again.

i felt like i was 17 again just listening to

my seven boys telling funny stories,

laughing, joking, & teasing again.

it felt good. i just love them.

chel put together a fire.. and it was super fun.

meteor shower.

Meteor showers (and storms) occur when the Earth passes through a comet's orbit, and left-over comet debris (rocks, etc.) bombards the Earth. Each meteor shower occurs at a predictable time each year.

the gang headed up to sundance to see the beautiful shower.

it was mazing. like awesome.

we were all a little sleepy.

non stop laughing.

and singing.

oh i love late nights.

and then waking up at 6:30 the next morning.

love my life.

miss this woman.
she went back to her island.
so before she left we went for a walk up the canyon.
and talked for hours. and cried. and laughed.
hopefully someday soon i can visit her on the island

miss kati jo.

one of my favorite girls from snow came and stayed with me for a night.
i was so happy we finally got together after months of trying to find a weekend. yahooie!
first i dragged her along with me to a photog session.
she was wonderful, making the kids smile and laugh!
i need to hire her as my full time assistant.
shes pretty cool. i must say.
then i took her to my favorite place.
the chocolate of course.
she loved. just as much as me.

then we went to a bbq.
with the friends i grew up with.
and their spouses..
cept davey and are too cool for that.

then we randomly decided to hike the Y.
i think all of us realized how out of shape we are.
but we had fun.
and archie serenaded us with the guitar.
and jared entertained us.

we had a late night del run,

then stayed up til almost four talking.

it was just like old times.

thanks kati for coming to visit me in o town.

notice.

I am so behind on blogging its bugging me. and stressing me out.
and i'm waiting for sister to send me pictures from the 4th.
i never, ever, blog out of order.
so i can't believe i'm posting this.
but i guess there is a first for everything right?

so this night was freaking fun. love my friends.
love that this group was so random.
random groups can go one of two ways.
and this went the best way.
so after more ppl show up-{which i didn't think that many would show}
we were having a good time, listen to tunes, roasting HUGE marshmallows, chatting
i look over and there is a man in normal clothes with a SHERIFF hat on. standing next to his- well what looked like his wife.
he was talking to a few of my guy friends..
next thing I know he has a bucket of water in his hands and tells us the other sheriff is on his way up to give warnings or arrest those who are having fires. but he could put it out for us and send us home. he didn't even give us two seconds to gather our things and he puts the fire out. next things next it starts down pouring cats and dogs! not going to lie i thought it was all a joke and was freaked out by the man.
somehow we ended up at dennys and had some good laughs til the wee hours of the morning.
i love fires and am mad ours had to end.

moral of the story:

don't let stranger men put out your fire.

and pay attention to notice signs.
