Bevie’s Baked Pasta

Ingredients:

1 Recipe Filipo’s Pasta Sauce
2 lbs. Penne pasta, cooked
Mozerella, grated


Directions:

Layer in 13x9” pan: Sauce, pasta, cheese, sauce, pasta, cheese, sauce **Bev’s Notes** Use sauce last for nice, crispy texture
Bake at 350 degrees (or 325 if glass dish) for 20 min. uncovered

Filipo’s Pasta Sauce

Ingredients:

1 lb. Lean ground beef
10 cans Contadina Tomato Sauce
1 can Warm water
2-4 Cloves garlic, sliced thin
2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Directions:

Brown ground beef, set aside covered.
In large pot on low heat, lightly brown garlic in 1-2 T olive oil.
Add tomato sauce, and use water to wash out remains of all cans.
Add ground beef and Italian seasoning and simmer on low to med. Low heat for 30-45 min. Serve over pasta noodles.
