the bffe and i went on a jaunt up to see

 the lights at temple square.

it is one of my favorite things about Christmas time.

they are so beautifully done every single year.

it wasn't too cold, but it was a bit rainy.

the spirit of Christmas was there. 

and it made me even more excited.

there is something so special to me about the Salt Lake Temple.

it amazes me every time i see it how detailed the outside is.

and how incredible that it took the pioneers 40 years to build.

it is my castle. i can't wait to get married in it one day.

we decided to step out of the norm of orem, and go to salt lake for the evening. we ate nummy food at the garden that overlooks temple square. so pretty. and saw the Joesph smith movie. it was fun to do something different. love my friendsies.

Coop took me on a date to the gateway, din-din, and walked around Temple Square.. so pretty in the fall! Had to take lots o pics of the Temple!

ashley night out.

Ash and I decided to have an "Ashley's night out". After we got off work Friday we headed up to SLC to go see the Joesph Smith movie at the Joesph Smith Memorial building. IT WAS AWESOME. I hadn't seen it since 2006. We both cried lots and lots. It was wonderful reminder of how much the Prophet Joesph went through and strengthened my testimony of him. We even talked to the Sister missionaries before the show started. Afterward we went to the CUTEST little Italian restaurant that Ashes uncle recommended to us. We sat outside and they had a jazz band playing outside. The food was really good and authentic. It was good to step outside of the box and try somewhere new! Thanks for a fun girls night ash! bffe XOXO

Temple Trip with the Rents

Temple Square

Ash and I wanted to do a trip to Temple Square so we invited Dave and Sam to come and then Dave's mission companion Sage came with us as well! It was a very random group but we all had a great time. We decided to take Trax, which is always an adventure in itself :) We originally wanted to watch the Joesph Smith movie but got up there later than expected. After walking around we went back to Sage's house for a bit then headed on over to Denny's to get some grub!It was a beautiful night and the Temple is always so beautiful!I was so upset that I forgot to charge my camera the night before else I would have probably had lots more pictures..oh well we got some cute ones!
