one of my best friends is getting married this friday! i am SO super excited for her wedding. i have loved watching her 'love story' reveal right in front of my eyes. i have watched their relationship blossom, got to be there for the proposal & take pictures of the whole thing (post to come), go dress shopping and have loved every minute of it! they are so perfect for each other and i couldn't be happier for them. in honor of her i threw a shower for her a few weeks back. i had a lot of fun planning it and decorating for it. i love showers!

i love when things turned out how you pictured them to be!! i had so much fun planning kaylie's shower. i wanted to use her main colors of pink and black. and zebra just fit her personality perfectly. i also wanted to incorporate the pictures i had taken of them. so i had fun making the close line of pictures/cupcake flowers. so much fun, in fact i burned my finger with the hot glue gun ;) it was good to see some of the girls that we used to dance with. i made my usual Chinese chicken salad. i wish i could take credit for the the cute (and tasty) cupcakes and cake. but that would be the talent of my friend chelsea. she will also be doing the wedding cake. not only are her cakes pretty but they are seriously so dang good! thanks everyone who came and who helped me with this. i can't wait for the wedding! i had my bridesmaid dress fitting the other day and now all i gotta do is find some cute shoes! i heart weddings!!! and planning parties.

Em's Shower

It seems like yesterday Em and I were talking about {and dressing up as brides} when we would be getting married and now she is!! I couldnt't be more happy for her. How adorable is this picture?? Naturally I had to blow it up and display it at the shower.

Now here she is as a real bride.

I can't wait for her wedding! It will be awesome. The weekend before Em and I are going to get pedicures and go to dinner. We always talked about going to the spa before one of us got married just like on Saved by the Bell. Do you remember the wedding episodes in vegas? Yupp. That was always our dream. Just to be like Kelly and Lisa. Love you Em.
