7, 7, 7, 7!

I am finally back! I have a lot of updating to do. I honestly don't even know where to begin. These past two months have been a blur. Here are the top Seven highlights as of late:

ONE//. Officially got everything officially booked for my big trip coming up. I cannot wait!!! It feels like a dream.

TWO//. I am loving the springy weather here in UT. It makes my heart happy.

THREE//. I have been in a cooking mood lately and have been whipping up a lot of salsas & some of my favorite of my mothers meals.

FOUR//.  Easter was just wonderful. I love everything about Easter. My cute old roomie Tiff left us all baskets on the table.

FIVE//. Photography business has really picked up. I feel so blessed! Even though it is overwhelming sometimes dealing with two full time jobs I love every minute of it.

SIX//. Hit my six year mark at PMI. Hollar!!  I honestly don't know where the time has gone. I never thought I would be there as long as I have been but i love the people I work with & it's good steady place of employment.

SEVEN//. I took a pedi cab one night in SLC. It made me feel like I was in NYC.

These Peeps.

ONE//. I just love these peeps. It's funny how roommates become like sisters. I feel so lucky to have such great people in my life.
TWO//. General Conference was just what I needed this weekend. It's always a great time to set new goals for myself & feel so spiritually uplifted. I feel so much love hearing from the Prophet & Apostles. There were a few talks I felt like were made for me.
THREE//. I am moving in a few weeks and am getting anxious for my new home & adventure. I am so excited to decorate! I have a million ideas thanks to Pinterest.
FOUR//. Dating in 2014 is exhausting, hilarious, & ridiculous. Need I say more?
FIVE//. Photography spring season is in FULL bloom. Goodbye, social life! Good thing I love what I do.
SIX//. The weather is just lovely. I need to make more of an effort to spend more time outside. I feel like my days are always spent inside. My day goes as follows: I leave the office at 4 head to the gym, come home to make dinner & spend the rest of the night a)editing b)netflix c)flirting/socializing or d) all of the above. And then it repeats.
SEVEN//. One of my favorite talks from Conference was President Uchtdorf's talk on gratitude. We can choose to be grateful, no matter what. If you would like to read or listen to it, click here. I highly suggest it. It was beautifully said & made me realize and truly think about what I am most grateful for & that I need to not take for granted on a daily basis what is in front of me, even when times are rough.

seven things.

ONE//.  I recently just started to watch Desperate Housewives. I am obsessed. Need I say more?

TWO//. I have been rocking at going to the gym. (sticking to my New Years goals people!) I started doing weights the past two week and boy am I sore!

THREE//. I got to do a local dance studios pictures last weekend and it was so much fun! The weather was beautiful, the dancers were simply amazing & I had a riot shooting their action shots. I will have to post some soon.

FOUR//. Yesterday before an appointment and had time before I had to be to it so I went to the park and soaked in the sun for an hour. It was oh so lovely. Sunshine sure does make me happy.

FIVE//. I get to teach RS on Sunday and I am super excited. Teaching RS is probably one of my favorite callings. I am sad I only get to teach twice before I move.

SIX//. I can't say enough good things about this past weeks HIMYM. I cried, I laughed and I just know I am going to be a mess for the finale. Ted Mosby always says it best. "You will be shocked kids, when you discover how easy it is in life to part ways with people forever. that's why, when you find someone you wanna keep around, you do something about it." That man is a genius.

SEVEN//. I have no words for how much I have loved reading this blog over the past week. I can't get enough of their love story, their advice, & their raw-ness. love. love. love.

Seven things

Seven has always been my favorite number. I am the seventh kid. I was born in the seventh month on the seventeenth day. It's always been my lucky number. Each week I am going to start doing a "Seven things" post. Random thoughts, news, or little bits of my life! Because it's the little things that mean the most and that I want to always remember.

ONE//. I've been MIA from the blog world for a while now. I haven't felt inspired to blog like I used to. And ya know what? I'm perfectly okay with that. It's only good when it comes from the heart and I wasn't going to force it.

TWO//.If you follow me on Instagram I posted how I started to run again. I mean I used to run a little while I was dancing in high school & college. I never loved it. This year I have committed to myself and my 26 before 26 list that I would run a 5k, and hopefully learn to somewhat like running in the process. Friends I can't even believe I'm even admitting this publicly but I have started to like it. I have also started to crave it. I know it's only been a few months so far this year but I have made huge progress and I'm pretty proud of myself. Yay!

THREE//. Even though it snowed the other day here in Utah it has been quite lovely lately. The sun makes me happy. Something about it just makes me want to spend all of my free time and just makes me an all over happier person. Weird? Totally not. Everyone needs some Vitamin D :)

FOUR//.The Bachelor. Wow. I don't even know what to say other then I'm slightly embarrassed at one point that I wrote "JUAN-uary" on my chalk board. I probably pressed the snooze button too many times. He was just ridiculous. I felt so bad for all of the girls and am so glad some of them chose to leave on their own. On related news I am more than thrilled that Andi is the next Bachelorette!

FIVE//. This year I am going on quite the adventure with one of my current roommates (more on that later) but in the process I have been saving my pennies (and my Benjamin's, ha!) in the process. I haven't been shopping for myself since the end of November. I am shocked myself that I have held strong. But boy will it be worth it. June can't come fast enough! I need a vacation stat.

SIX//. I am an aunt for the 19th time! That's just happy in itself. Welcome baby boy to the family. I love you already.

SEVEN//. I cut 5 1/2 inches off of my hair. It was much needed and feels great. I haven't colored it since December and I am getting it done next month and going blonder. I feel like a 'new me'. 2014 is great. I'm loving it!
