movie talk 101

let's first start off with
THE VOW
okay, not going to lie i can't even count how many times i watched the trailer for this movie. what can i say i'm a hopeless romantic who loves a good chick flick. i think i walked into the movie with a little too high of expectations. i mean let's be real. i don't think any movie will ever surpass my love for THE NOTEBOOK. i hold it on a bit of a high pedestal. i did like it. but i think i just went in with the wrong expectations. it was super cute. a romantic story. i felt so sad for channing's character the entire movie. but i love that it was based off of a true story. when it ended i was like, "wait! it's over?" but i did like it. i think i need to see it again. the more i think about it i really did like it.

all in all i don't they could have picked two better people to play the roles of the characters.
channing is perfect. also, i loved all of rachel mcadams hair styles through out the movie.

next up..
THIS MEANS WAR
okay, hilarious.
first off, i always have loved reese. and chris pine & tom hardy are hotties.
i don't think i have laughed that hard in a romantic comedy in a long long time. the whole movie i couldn't decide who i wanted her to end up with. but i loved the way it ended. it was just a fun action//romantic//comedy. you must see.

did you see either of these movies?
what did you think of them?

PS head over to miss gentri's blog and see some photos i snapped of her.
more to come on my photography blog soon!

movies. movies. and more movies.

since i've been sick the past few days i've watched a lot of movies. here they are with some of my favorite quotes from each of them.

If you're not willing to sound stupid you don't deserve to be in love.

-A lot like love

ShhhDon't Talk…You'll Ruin It…-A lot like love

I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.
-you've got mail

What will NY152 say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer. I wait impatiently as it connects. I go online, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You've got mail. I hear nothing. Not even a sound on the streets of New York, just the beating of my own heart. I have mail. From you.
 -you've got mail

We stole the Statue of Liberty...! ...the small one, from Las Vegas!
-Despicable Me

Agnes: I like him. He's nice.
Edith: He's scary.
Agnes: Like Santa.
-Despicable Me

Rafe: You are so beautiful it hurts.
Evelyn: It's your nose that hurts.
Rafe: I think it's my heart.

-pearl harbor

"If I had one more night to live... I'd wanna spend it with you." -pearl harbor

i forget how much i love watching movies.
especially cheesy lines.
i am feeling a bit better thank goodness.
its back to work tomorrow.

each day count.

"I mean, I got everything I need right here with me. I got air in my lungs, a few blank sheets of paper. I mean, I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen or, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge and now here I am on the grandest ship in the world having champagne with you fine people. I figure life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it. You don't know what hand you're gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you... to make each day count."

i've been pondering on what goals i am going to set myself for this next year and what i want my theme to be, what i want to achieve and who i want to become.
then this attractive man sparked some inpiration in me as i have been watching titanic tonight.
thanks leo.
for inspiring me

warning.

.
last friday night these lovely two ladies and i went out to see the movie
 how do you know.

oh my, i thought it was terrible.
do not go see.
maybe redbox it if you are that curious.
but the plot, acting, and just everything about it was horrible.
ya there were a few cute parts, a few funny but all in all,
i did not like.

as much as i love Reese (she was cute of course) but she could have picked a better movie to be in :)
wished i would have known this before i waisted eight bucks on a movie.

how do you know it's a bad movie?
because i said so!

blabbing.

despite my va-kay {which was fabulous by the way}
i've been eating pretty healthy ish the past few weeks.
boy can i tell a difference! i feel better.
i crave veggies. ya hmm.. that's never happened.
when i was younger i always used to watch my sis erika
eat lunch and think it was so weird that she loved
fruits, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.
now i'm addicted.
i never thought i would actually LOVE cottage cheese.
but its my new favorite.
just thought you should know.

on another note two of my sisters will be in town next month.
sisters are the best. especially when you have three.
after talking to all of them on the phone yesterday
i realized how great it is how each of us are soooo different.
yet the same.
i love that each of them gives me different advice, insight,
and they all make me laugh so much.
i just heart them.

oh ya and i already have my eclipse tickets reserved.
how sweet is that? i can't wait.
it will be a fun field gno.
is it bad that i haven't even read the 3rd book
and i'm excited to go?? oops. oh well.

so i really like justin bieber.
his songs are fabo.
he is sooo young.
but love um.

oh and get this.
i have always been so anti dying/coloring my hair.
{for some odd reason i always wanted to have my natural color at my wedding..but that will not be the case anymore}
but allie {one of my besties & my hairdresser}
convinced me to be her model for something she has at work.
so i caved.
my never been dyed hair will become something different next week.
i'm almost positive i'm going to go lighter,
then eventually go darker in the fall.
what do you think i should do?
light? or dark?
so far fellow fbookers have told me light.

is it weird that i miss going to school?
well i do.

well enough of my blabbing i hope everyone has a fabo thursday.
im going to miss nicole's reception tonight.
then to a movie with trace.

yay for friends and weddings!

Frankly, my dear

Mama and i have been indulging in this tonight.
aww. so in love with clark gable.
he is a dream boat.
call me old school, but i heart this movie.
grew up loving it. its mamas fave.
makes me want to put on a big gown, petticoats, camisole, & hat.
hold an umbrella and go to a party.
i still claim that i'm named after ashley wilkes.
oh well. that means im from 12 oaks.

Some of my favorite quotes:
Rhett Butler: I'm very drunk and I intend on getting still drunker before this evening's over.

Rhett Butler: This is an honorable proposal of marriage made at what I consider a most opportune moment. I can't go all my life waiting to catch you between husbands.

Bonnie Blue Butler: London Bridge? Will it be falling down?
Rhett Butler: Well, it will if you want it to, darling.

Rhett Butler: No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.

Rhett Butler: Did you ever think of marrying just for fun?
Scarlett: Marriage, fun? Fiddle-dee-dee. Fun for men you mean.

"Tara! Home. I'll go home. And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all... tomorrow is another day."

Scarlett: As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or kill. As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again.

Scarlett: Rhett, Rhett... Rhett, if you go, where shall I go? What shall I do?
Rhett Butler: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
{watch this:}

LOVED IT!!!

The work girls and I went to the premiere last night.. (pictures to come!).
It was amazing.
There are no words, besides that I LOVED EVERY MINUTE of Twilight.
I thought each character was portrayed as well as they could and the feeling of the book was felt. I want to go again. Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did, even though some parts were a bit cheesy. xoxo
PS. Its official I'm obsessed now.
