After our Thanksgiving dinners we hit the road for St. George to start our girls trip! About five months before this trip we all found out that Justin Timberlake was going to be in Vegas so we thought why not make a little weekend trip out of it. It was a  fun trip watching girl movies, staying up late talking, playing games, eating out & most of all going to my all time favorite concert to date. Literally Justin blew me away. It was unreal. His voice was so clear and I got the chills the moment he walked out on the stage. He sang all of my favorite songs & played for THREE straight hours. The singing,  the lights, the dancing, & the presentation of each song just amazed me. He even sang an Nsync' song, an Elvis Presley song, a Michael Jackson song & even did a song just on the piano. His voice was beautiful and so was he. I loved every single minute of the concert! Thanks for a fun weekend girlies!

My boys.

Tyler & McKenzie, Rob & Brianna, Miles & JaNae, Danaan & Heather, Landon, Me, Andrew & Leah {not pictured Zander & Swens}

Back in high school I was blessed with eight great guy friends that I started to hang out with my sophomore year. We had the best of times and went through everything together. I loved that we did everything together.  From date dances, treat Friday, march madness, parties, New Year's Eves, football games, hot tubing,  and the list goes on and on. My favorite memories are with these boys. Now that most of them are married (and i love all of their wife's.. how cute are they?!) we don't see each other as often as I wish we did. Last month in November Miles got married and so all of us (but Swens who's going to Medical school in CA) were at the wedding. It made me so happy that for a few hours we got to reminisce, laugh, and just be together. I love 'my boys'!

4th of July 2013

The 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday. Something about BBQ's, fireworks & seeing everyone in red, white & blue is the best. This year I slept in, layed out at my pool, relaxed, went shopping and then went with Brady & his family to the Stadium of Fire! I hadn't been in a few years so I was so excited when he asked me to go. It's such a wonderful patriotic service. There was an eleven year old girl who sang the national anthem who blew me away. Carly Rae Jepsen & Kelly Clarkson performed. Carly was not the best. #callmemaybe Kelly of course rocked it. She is so great live and a wonderful performer. Plus, I know every one of her songs. The firework show was so cool and lasted forever! I am so glad I love in such a wonderful country! God bless the USA!

My best friends wedding.

My best friend Melissa got married June 21st! It was such a fun day!! That morning I woke up and went over to Melissa's to get ready with her. Our friend Haley did our hair and did an awesome job. I love any excuse for an up-do so I joined in on the fun. She and John got married in the SLC Temple. It couldn't have been a more perfect day outside. I love seeing happy they were all day long. Their smiles were contagious. Their luncheon & reception was in Lehi at the Dry Creek gardens and was so beautiful. Since I'm such a sucker for weddings I soaked in every minute of it from the temple pictures to the cake cutting to dancing and sending them off with sparklers. I loved being apart of all the events leading up to the wedding from the night he proposed taking pictures, to dress shopping, lots of wedding chats, taking reveal the dress photos, getting ready and spending the whole day with them the day of the wedding.I am so thankful for Melissa's friendship all of these years & am excited for she and John to start their new life together.

my jeffie.

jeffie and i met in august of 2006. we were both freshman at snow college. we happened to live right next door to each other. one night as i was walking back to my apartment from dance practice i saw a boy sitting down on his porch against the door talking on the phone. being the flirty nosy 18 year old i was i interrupted him and asked him who he was talking to. and thus began our friendship. i couldn't imagine my time at snow without jeff. we were goof balls. he was my boy bff. the one i could complain to, cry to, laugh with, & became the younger brother i never had. after snow i moved back to my home town and moved back to washington dc. a few years later he came back to utah to finish up his bachelors. i was so happy! even though we didn't hang out all the time i am so glad that we have still kept in touch over the years and would occasionally hang out. i'll always remember all of our memories from playing sing star to building forts to going on adventures to staying up late playing games to birthdays to dennys runs at 2 am to hot tubbin. jeff just recently graduated and moved back to dc. these pics are from our little lunch date before he left. i am so proud of him and his big accomplishment! i was so sad to see him go back to dc but am so excited for his new chapter in life! i can't wait to some day go visit him in dc. thanks for being such a wonderful friend all of these years.i'm going to miss you. lots and lots.
