my jeffie.

jeffie and i met in august of 2006. we were both freshman at snow college. we happened to live right next door to each other. one night as i was walking back to my apartment from dance practice i saw a boy sitting down on his porch against the door talking on the phone. being the flirty nosy 18 year old i was i interrupted him and asked him who he was talking to. and thus began our friendship. i couldn't imagine my time at snow without jeff. we were goof balls. he was my boy bff. the one i could complain to, cry to, laugh with, & became the younger brother i never had. after snow i moved back to my home town and moved back to washington dc. a few years later he came back to utah to finish up his bachelors. i was so happy! even though we didn't hang out all the time i am so glad that we have still kept in touch over the years and would occasionally hang out. i'll always remember all of our memories from playing sing star to building forts to going on adventures to staying up late playing games to birthdays to dennys runs at 2 am to hot tubbin. jeff just recently graduated and moved back to dc. these pics are from our little lunch date before he left. i am so proud of him and his big accomplishment! i was so sad to see him go back to dc but am so excited for his new chapter in life! i can't wait to some day go visit him in dc. thanks for being such a wonderful friend all of these years.i'm going to miss you. lots and lots.

the old life.

i was just checking snow's website to see when the homecoming game is.
and came across this.

oh the good old days.
i miss them.

they were simple.

simple as..
school from 7:30-12:30
work from 1-3:30
drill 4:30-6:30
more classes 6:30-8:30
drill meetings/eat
library til 11:00
play play play
sleep from 4 am til 7

repeat.

throw in a football/basketball game to perform at.
study some more.
play some more.

didn't have to think what i was going to do.
it was the same every day.
and i loved it.

ya know how missionaries say "it was the best two years"
these were my "best two years" so far ;)...

Kathleen

Kathleen Pili was my coach for two years down at Snow and she recently retired. Those were some of the best memories of my life. Kathleen was like my mom down at Snow, we would go to her house for team dinner and I got pretty close with her especially since I was on presidency. She always was full of great advice for me and truly cared about every single girl on our team. No matter what anyone had been through she was always there with a willing hand. She is such a great person and I was so blessed to have her be a part of my life. I will never forget the fun memories of camp in California, all our performances, team dinners, outings, picture taking, talking, eating, etc. There was never a dull moment with her, she was always making us laugh (doing her old cheers from high school, you know what i'm talkin about drill girlies...!) Kathleen was always full of energy and taught me to always be positive and to look for the good in people. Read the article and you'll get a feel for how amazing she is! She is THE DANCING QUEEN. Her program was all about having fun doing what we all love the most...DANCING. We all did just that. I think every team should be about FUN, and not stupid competitions, etc. Thanks for all the good times and memories Kathleen!

I can't believe its been a year this weekend since I moved home.(how time flies!)

I came across this article in the Sanpete Messenger :)
Take a looksey...
