Park City

Back in October Caitlyn and I went up to Park City for her birthday weekend. We shopped, we ate, we relaxed/ It was a true vacation & it was such a chill weekend. We found some great restaurants: Park City Pizza Co & 350 Main. Both of us had never done the alpine slide, the coaster or the zip line so we spent one day up at the Park City Mountain resort! They were so much fun and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I also enjoyed just walking around main street walking through the shops and art galleries. Something about Park City is just magical. It was a nice little getaway and break. Love me some Park City!

{pre-thanksgiving break}

sometimes you just need a weekend to rejuvenate from life. that is when i head to my little st. george utah. tate and i were lucky enough to get a little weekend away aka our pre thanksgiving break. (yes i realize this was almost a month ago.) this makes me sad blogging about this now because i wish i could just jump in these pictures because i am so ready for another break! {three more days.. three more days} this break was awesome. we went down with no plans but just to kick it in the condo. we made good food, slept, and RELAXED. it was amazing. time wasn't a factor. we went as we pleased, had one too many mountain dews, got massages, went to wal-mart in our leggings, boots, and cardigans {oh, so classy}, read, took naps, watched movies, played games, and slept some more. i didn't even bring my camera because i wanted to not even think about having to do anything. so thankful i was able to have this break.

i highly recommend this.

It was a busy busy weekend but still so fun and chill which was much needed! I heart Park City. I could so live there. It's so cute, quaint, and has great shopping ;) Now here goes the count down til Thanksgiving Break!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

A day spent without laughter is a day wasted

Sundays. They are the day I get to go to church, hang with the rents, relax, have me time, maybe even watch a movie. I also like to spend time reading, writing in my journal, and reflecting on life. I also love when friends come to visit. Last Sunday Caitlyn came over and we were looking at something online. Then we pulled up my web cam and had a little fun! We were cracking up the whole time we were taking pictures. Sometimes these just absolutely make my day!
