finally.

have you ever done something
and you don't know why you did it?
but you knew it was the RIGHT thing.
but you have no idea why.

sometimes our heart tells us one thing.
our brain tells us another.
we want to follow our heart.
but we know our brain is right.

i was smart enough to follow what i knew was right.
but was not sure why.
it was a matter of blind faith.
i would sit and wonder each month why.

until now.

i know why.
its been a long path.
but i am happier.
happier than i could have wished.

the Lord knows what we need.
far more than what we think we want.
its so much better,
then i could ever expect.

as hard as it is sometimes,
do what you know,
that is the right thing to do.
you will be blessed.

as much pain,
as my little heart has felt,
i know now,
that it can be healed.

time is a funny thing,
love it,
hate it,
you can't change it.

i would never change,
the course of this past year,
not even for a minute.
because now, i finally know.

its been a long and dark road.
and now i can feel the sun shining on me.
