This day was mi madre's 6-0 birthday! Nothing better than for her to be on the beach on her special day. She is a California girl so she was so happy to be at the beach with the sand in between her toes :) It was great to be with her the whole day on her birthday. We stayed at the cutest hotel on the beach in newport!

i could have just been dropped off there and stayed for a month or so.. it was paradise. isn't the view from my room awesome? i think i will definitely going to be going back! the huge rocks at cannon beach were beautiful. i loved working on photography landscape shots. i love capturing people so it was fun to experiment around with scenery. and i actually began to enjoy it. oh and i think one of my favorite parts of the day was reading HP5 on the deck watching the sunset. 

just blogging about all this makes me want to jump in the pictures and re live it. 

 i was born to vacation.
