Little Girl in a Big World

when miss ashley asked me to put together a little guest post for her blog i had my usual anxiety attack. if blogger was handing out super powers i would be first in line to grab the instant ability to create wonderfully witty and humorous blog posts. the rate at which i'm producing them now is far from instant. when ashley then sent me a few ideas i threw my anxiety out the window and jumped for joy. love when others do the dirty work for me. so after looking over her awesome ideas i decided on the perfect one. in honor of the breaking dawn movie soon to hit theaters, here is the tale of the time i went on a date with edward cullen.

i have a gorgeous friend who was asked on a date by someone she hardly knew. lucky for her the date turned into a double. he brought a friend and she brought, well me of course. the instant my date got out of the car i could think of nothing but that sun sparkling vampire so many girls love. he dressed like him, he wore his hair the same way, he even acted like edward. you know how edward is a total creep because he does this thing where he just stares but everyone gets so involved with how cute the love story is that he seems less creepy? well my vampire date stared just like edward. but since i wasn't falling madly in love with the guy, it seemed ten times more creepy. i would catch him out of the corner of my eye staring. it was never just a quick stare it was more like i'm going stick my teeth into your neck in the next two seconds type of stare.

while driving to our destination books became the topic for discussion. to keep the twilight theme going, we discussed the series. best part? edward was the one who decided to start the conversation about his favorite books. the boy has read every single one. wait, it gets better. he has watched all the movies as well. i suppose that would be where he found his outfit inspiration and hair style. baseball games prove to be a pretty awkward venue when you're stuck on a date with someone you'd rather not be with. it's too hard to have a four way conversation, which means turning the date into a double was somewhat useless. edward and i did our best to carry on a conversation but when he told me his favorite actress was bella i about died. not kristen stewart. bella. the actual twilight character.

after the baseball game we headed to mr. cullen’s house. his mom had loads of old pictures up everywhere so of course i looked. his style and his hair was far from edward’s. i swear to you that after this kid saw the movie he said to himself hey i sort of look like him so i might as well change my hair and wardrobe and actually be him. perhaps his plan was to get girls to fall madly in love with him. sorry to say but i’m not really into vampires.

i went on date with edward and you really shouldn't be jealous.
