I'm writing it up as inventive and confident.

the weekend started officially on thursday night.
i was able to sleep in a little friday, because i took the day off of work!
sometimes its nice to have a a day off to do something fun.
i didn't want anyone to wake up me. therefore i left this note on my door.

mama and i spent the day together running errands and we went to the drill team state competition. i loved every minute of it! it was so fun to watch all of the performances all day long. i love critiquing each dance. it is so crazy to see how all of the styles, costumes, music etc has changed over the past six years.  it made me want to be down on that floor performing again!!!

later friday night sam, tate and i met up with some of our friends from snow! it was fun to see them and we felt like little kids playing around on the arcade games. needless to say we had a great time. deal or no deal was probably our fave! with all of our tickets we got huge playing cards!! ha!

saturday afternoon i met up with one of my best friends that i danced with in college for lunch. it had been far too long. i always forget how much fun we have together. we laugh so much over the silliest things. we went to this cute little bakeshop called food for thought. it was adorable. it was this old house they fixed up and they had the most amazing food. i had a CARAMELIZED PEAR AND GORGONZOLA SALAD with a half of a CURRY CHICKEN SANDWICH. yes they were both just as good as they sound. sometimes i feel like i should be a food critic. ya know, like julia roberts on my best friends wedding. have i ever mentioned that's my favorite movie? well it is. then lindee and i had a little photo shoot. see a preview here.

then i headed back down to the UC to meet up with Diana and her cute family for a family picture session
they were SO cute. and her kids are so adorable! they were so easy to photograph and it was so fun to finally meet her :) Thanks Diana!
ps. if you haven't yet visited her etsy shop. GO NOW. you'll thank me later.

random, but this song has been stuck in my head all weekend. love him.
i've been in a super country  mood lately.

i also did some studying this weekend for a big test i have. (wish me luck!)

and instead of continuing to study late saturday night (the inner college student in me caved) i went up to salt lake to go to a house warming party of one of my friends, friends. i love meeting new people. yupp. i do.
this was my eye shadow color palette this weekend. i was feeling very purple.

for sunday din din mama bev is making one of my favorite meals.
i thought i would be nice and share. its delish!
and now i will sit here and dream of it until i get to eat..
