my family halloween party is always a blast. we have the traditional white chicken chili, homemade root beer bone hunt, pinata, fabulous costumes and annual doughnut eating contest! this year we even had a photo booth. it's always so fun to see what costumes everyone comes in and how creative they get. i was pretty thrilled to be princess leia! i didn't spend a dime on my costume. i wore an old white turtle neck, wrapped a fitted sheet around my west, belted it, grabbed a toy gun out of my moms costume closet, and did sock buns! i was pretty happy about how my costume turned out. one of my nephews was even darth vader-so it was perfect! he kept saying to me, "aunt ashy do you know what the REAL darth vador says??? LUKE i am your fawthaaa. " it was the cutest thing ever. and that my friends was my family party.
I love your costume! So cute, and pretty much effortless! I'm going to be a hippy-isg 80's girl, complete with leg warmers, colored tights, and that high side ponytail!
