rachel green & complex carbohydrates {thanksgiving 2012]

 

  this year was not your typical thanksgiving at the shippen household. it was a small & quiet day. it was just the parents & i. the only thing bad about being the youngest and not married is when it's the 'off' year and everyone is at your their in laws :) we had a great time even though it was super quiet considering i'm used to about 20 more people over! each year we all write in our 'thanksgiving book' about what we're thankful for. this year i wrote that i am thankful for my siblings & that i'm not an only child! i love the fact that every year my dad gets into the pumpkin pie the night before & that we all pick at the stuffing before dinner.later on we went & saw the movie Lincoln. the rest of the evening i spent watching the thanksgiving f.r.i.e.n.d.s episodes. {pretty much my favorite} then i went to bed early since i was working a 12 hour shift the next day. i heart turkey day!
