the things i learn.

 

    this past weekend i learned that:     my perfect job would be a professional makeup artist/photographer/organizer/food critic/shopper. saturdays are my absolute favorite because i get to sleep in. i love cleaning on friday nights so i don't have to lift a finger on saturdays. i am a shoe addict. i haven't updated my ipod in over a year. i love spring cleaning. waffle love has won my heart over. sometimes i have blacked things from my memory for a reason. i have the best roommates. ear infections are horrible. buying people magazine makes me happy. the older i get the more i don't care to have a wedding reception. brie, strawberry, & chocolate grilled cheese are fabulous. i get attached to clothes and have the hardest time giving them up when spring cleaning.

  highlights from the past two weeks:   -red mango date with katie jaye -date nights with my mama -the host -tortilla bar with friends -conference center -blueberries in my oatmeal -blondie -flowers from my roomies bf. -girls night out at the riverwoods -eyelash extensions -green eyes -blue bell ice cream -the roomies

     waffle love: a truck full of heaven.   i really am at a loss for words other then to tell you to GO NOW if you live in utah county. it will be the best decision of your adult life.  you can thank me later.  

easter 2013

 

    easter weekend was spent well with my those i love. friday the roomies and i went up to city creek for dinner and shopping. when i was little i would always get a new sunday outfit for easter and so i have continued that tradition now as an adult. plus, it's an excuse to go shopping! i will most definitely carry on this when i have children. saturday i tried black sheep cafe with my sis. and then that night i went to noah's for a 'les miserables' party (pictures to come) at noah's that emilee had planned. i hadn't watched it since the theater so i was really excited to see it on a big screen. sunday was a wonderful day at church. after my ward i went with my mom to hear my dad speak at a ward conference. later that day i went over to my parents to dye easter eggs with my mom. my favorite ting as a little girl was to draw designs and names with a white crayon! i still love doing that. before dinner emilee wanted me to snap some pictures of she and jeff and it reminded me of when we were little taking pictures each easter. (pictured above easter 1992). this year it was just my parents and i for dinner- it's times like those i feel like an only child. mom made the best strawberry pie as well! easter weekend was wonderful reflecting on the life of my savior, jesus christ. i am so thankful for his life and ministry.

  sometimes i am a terrible blogger. sometimes i am more than grateful for dry shampoo. sometimes i actually eat breakfast before work. sometimes i never delete text messages. sometimes new girl is pretty much the best thing to ever happen. sometimes dating is hilarious. sometimes getting eye lash extensions was the best decision i have made so far in my adult life. sometimes when i go blonder i feel more like myself. sometimes i go to general conference. sometimes i drag my mattress into the family room and have a sleepover with the roomies. sometimes life is more than wonderful.
