green makes me happy.
its always been my favorite color since I was a little girl.

lately I've been thinking about me. my life. where I've been. where I'm going. the people who have made me who i am. the experiences i have had that have made me who I am. how blessed I am.

there truly have been so many people who have touched my life. there are too many to name. but to name a few that stand out from past years.

*mr. rentz- {my 9th grade student council advisor} He taught me that i can do anything i set my mind to. i can do great things. i can be who i want to be-i just have to act upon it. he taught me to have self confidence. and many other lessons that i will never forget. this is when i think i started to become ME.

*my mother- {I've always been a mama's girl} She is the most selfless person i know. each day she teaches me something new.she is always so positive and teaches me to be positive. we have always been best friends and grow closer the older i get. she has set her expectations high for me and now i set them high for myself. i want to be just like her when i grow up.

*ryne {an old friend}- he taught me ambition for life. to live each day to the fullest. to do what is right. to make each choice count. to look at the spiritual side of everything. to be sincere. to mean it. to be a TRUE friend.

*kathleen pili {college drill coach}- to love life. to accept everyone. to be there for everyone. to LOVE everyone. to work hard. to laugh. that i can do tough things. do to what you love. to be a leader.

these people made me- ME. who i am today. they probably will never know how much they influenced my life + changed me for the better. but they did.

Days! Until I can wear my contacts...
Can't even tell you how much I took wearing contacts for granted.
I owe whoever invented them a lot.
They make life so much easier.

until then me and the glasses will remain bff's.

On another note.. I am so thankful it is Thursday. The weekend is almost here-and it just makes me so happy.

Yesterday I busted out my old fat CD case & listened to a bunch of the music that I listened to in high school. It was fabulous. Highly recommend doing that. I had forgotten about so many classic songs that used to be my favorites.

Story time.

Me and my eye have not been getting along lately. She has not been good to me and has given me pink eye several times over the past 7 months. No bueno. It will start to go away and then come back. I have sanitized. Not worn makeup. Went to the doctor a handful of times. Tried drops. Etc. Finally the pink eye part went away and now my Right eye just looks lazy (boo.) and won't stop watering. And just hurts.

So Last week i went to the EYE doc. He said I had a really bad infection (i can't remember what he called it)-and that it was weird that it was only in the Right eye. He gave me drops that have steroids in them. (freaked me right out. My eye is going to be pretty toned!)

(at my visit-hey i get kinda bored waiting..)

Moral of the story. Me and my JLo glasses will be seeing a lot of you- So get excited.

I have to admit I have never been a fan of

stuffed animals

(i used to have to hide all of mine in the closet at night time)

but I sorta really like this one.

Or maybe its just because I was at Wal-mart late at night?? Who knows?
But i love everything valentinsie.

and i really don't think that's a word. but i just said it.

All growing up mi padre always got us girls flowers.

mom got us candy and cards.

i love all the funny cards.

love that mama decks the house out in valentines decor.

it just makes me happy.

Wish i was still in elementary school just so i could buy really cool valentines to exchange. I remember weeks before valentines i would have the valentines picked out at the store and couldn't wait for the day when mama would take me to get them. as soon as i got home i would start thinking about which cute boy in my class i was going to give the BEST card to. I would also remember making the coolest mailboxes for everyone to put MY valentines in.

How would it be to be TEN again?
